My name is Shatha Siefan, and I am a PhD student at Khalifa University, currently approaching the completion of my first year of doctoral studies. My research focuses on the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence (AI), with a particular emphasis on automation bias in AI-assisted healthcare decision-making. I am interested in understanding how healthcare professionals interact with AI-driven systems and how these technologies influence human judgment, decision-making, and patient safety.
I am eager to attend this conference to expand my knowledge of the latest advancements in healthcare technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital health innovations. I also look forward to engaging with researchers, academics, and industry professionals, exchanging ideas, and exploring emerging research directions that could contribute to my doctoral research and future academic development.
