He holds a B.Sc. in Software Engineering and an M.Sc. in Hardware Engineering. He completed his Ph.D. and Postdoctoral research in Computer Science at Western University in Canada. With 14 years of experience in academic teaching and research, he has authored or co-authored approximately 30 peer-reviewed research publications in leading international journals and conference proceedings. He has also served on technical committees for various journals, conferences, and workshops. He is also a reviewer for the reputable IEEE Transactions and other periodicals.
His primary research interests lie in edge and cloud computing, as well as distributed systems. He focuses on developing new methods, models, and algorithms and on applying machine learning techniques to future 5G and 6G Internet of Things (IoT) applications. He aims to connect his research with industry needs.
His honors and awards include the Western Graduate Research Scholarship (WGRS), the GLOBECOM Conference Travel Grant, invited papers, and a Best Paper award.
He recently chaired a workshop and a keynote speech in September 2025, and co-authored a publication for the 2025 NoF conference in Montreal, Canada. He has been invited to serve as a guest editor for the MDPI IoT journal in 2026.
